We have officially arrived!! It’s Spring ( although, the “official” first day of spring over here is when the clocks go forward, but for me, it’s the start of the month)! So Yay!!!!
And I have to say, I woke up to sun flooding through my bedroom window. So despite not actually wanting to get out of bed, albeit, I was about an hour later than usual, it was nice to have some sunlight!!
The last few weeks have been busy – I know i say that every time but it’s true! This week I am holding the fort at work alone and managed to pull off my first ever solo event yesterday up in Liverpool. I was so excitied and nervous at the same time. And thanks to my trusty PR friend Kat working by my side we managed to create a great event and the client was over to moon. As was I!!
So apart from that, we have had meetings and meetings for another event which will have James Murdoch at it along side Tony Blair (maybe) and so its all very high profile so needless to say there is lots of beauracratic red tape all the way around it.
Russ and I managed to get away for a valentines long weekend – we got the euro star to Brugge (pics just added) which was just what the doctor ordered. A great mini break destination and just nice to get out of London! Valentines Day was lovely and I got spoilt. Dinner out and gifts galore! Could get used to this boyfriend malarky!
Apart from the not alot has happened! However, I did go to Cat Empire gig last week which was pretty amazing. I also cooked up a feast on Sunday for Kel and Emma and Kirst came round too – I swear, i missed my calling as a chef! I killed it! So we had a great Sunday afternoon watching SATC and just catching up as it had been ages.
Em and dew are moving in with Kel and Cully this weekend but Russ is also back from his week teaching kids in Snowdonia (Nth Wales), so a juggling act of girlfriend and best friend will no doubt be pulled out of a hat!
Jayno is in Malaysia now and slowly but surely on her way back here. We have to let the estate agents now if we want the flat for another year ( I still can’t believe it’s already been a year since we moved in!!). Daniel is South Africa and I have had the not so pleasant company of a MOUSE!!! So not sure what we are doing flat wise – Lau, you coming home or what?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!
Looking into booking a summer holiday somewhere and very much looking forward to sitting on a beach and doing not a lot else!! And then Sydney in November!!
