Has really begun!
Who can believe it’s December again? And not only that, but Christmas in less than two weeks!! Aaaaah!
So it’s been a while since my last entry, let me cast my memory back over the last few weeks and fill you in on the life and times of Ash Thomas.
So, Jayno has been gone for a few weeks now and Daniel is proving to be a good housemate. It’s weird though – He doesn’t share my love of my early chrissy present to myself, The Box set of Sex and The City, or my excitement over new purchases, or any other inter office gossip i might have to bring home with me. He is most definitely NOT my Jayno. That’s for sure.
However, she does seem to be enjoying herself over there. I think a trip to Dubai was had over the weekend which I am sure I will hear all about tomorrow. With the 3 hours time difference at least we can email!
Work has been hectic. We have loads of events on in early Jan and so have to get planning on them now. Russ is off on annual leave as of Monday and frankly, it’s a bit daunting!! But hopefully it will all be a-ok.
Zula had a wicked house party as per usual. Up to all hours and needed the rest of the weekend to recover!
I went and saw the new Bond film – not as good as the others I don’t think. But i did go and see The Departed which was really REALLY good. Proper action, cop movie. Excellent cast too!
We had our work Chrissy party last Thursday which was awesome. It started at 3 in the afternoon with drinks and mingling in a local pub and then at 6pm we all got changed into glad rags and off to the Soho Review Bar for a burlesque night of fun and dance.
There were drag queens and a nativity play and pole dancing. Needless to say it was a big night and all had sore heads the day after, thankfully I had to day off to go and pick up Kel Miller at the airport with Em and Dew. Just uploaded the pics today so will put them on the site asap.
But otherwise, all is good on the flip side… however, winter did just set in
